Amber was born in August 1997 in South Dakota. My husband use to go hunting out at the ranch where she was born. We brought her home to Colorado in October that year and she has been a part of our family ever since. Amber was an excellent hunter, retrieving her first bird at 4 months old, loved to swim, camp and being with her family. She was a true playmate to our 3 girls, Alexis, Haylee and Jolene. Although we wish we had a magical pill to keep Amber young she was failing in health and needed our help to end her suffering. We are going to miss her tremendously but know she is in a better place where she is no longer in pain.
