Bones came to us as a 34-pound stray that didn’t have much life in him. After figuring out he had a plastic buckle adhered to his stomach wall we got him the necessary surgery. Then we had a normal “crazy” Boxer that we jokingly asked about the possibility of putting the buckle back in! You were the sweetest, funniest dog – always trying to make your mama laugh by throwing your toys around and squeaking them as loud as you could. You were never far from my side and all my daily tasks will be much harder without you. Every day was the best day of your life, and you taught us to try and live our lives the same way. The entire PD will miss your boundless energy and good nature as you taught new officers how to deal with dogs and let them practice their catchpole techniques on you. We will miss your beautiful face and your zest for life. Rest in peace beautiful boy.
