Buck joined our lives a decade ago. He came from the Longmont Humane Society. I think he was forever grateful that he landed in our lives. He was the most loyal companion. He was our eternal protector and best friend. He was the kind of dog that when you look into his eyes he had that twinkle, that glimmer that said he was a wise old soul. When we brought him home he would be forever at our side, forever concerned about the well being of his “people”. He gave you that look when you were down, like, hey, I am here for you no matter what…and he was. He has travelled all around this great state with us as well as the country. He befriended our adored cat Skylar and used to go break up fights between Skylar and other tom cats in the neighborhood. He was a brave soul and courageous in his fight against cancer. We was our first “child” and we are devastated by his passing but know that at least now he has no pain. May you be frolicking about with Skibby-Boy.
We miss you more than you could possibly know. WE love you.
Your family forever, Kristin, Dave, Keely, Grace, and Will
