Callie

November 18, 2016 by

Hello – My name is Callie Marie – but my parents called me Callie (except when I wasn’t listening.) I had a great life as a “furr-kid.” My sister, Rusty Ann and I were very lucky to have a wonderful mom and dad. Our mom and dad loved us very much. They would do anything for me and my sister. We got to go camping and swimming – I really liked to swim. I surprised my dad on my diving abilities. He couldn’t believe it that I liked to dive after balls in the deep end of the pond. We had a great big yard that we could chase the birds and squirrels and bunny rabbits!!!. My sister Rusty even caught a prairie dog once, but dad wouldn’t let her bring it in the house. We did get extra doggie biscuits when he took it away from us. I know my Mom and Dad are missing us very much. Rusty went to the Rainbow Bridge on 7/23/06 at the tender age of 11. I got to go live with her on 2/5/08. We spent our furr-kid lives giving lots of love and puppy hugs. We loved to snuggle and be with our mom and dad. And if anyone came to visit – they always said they were there to see mom and dad – but we knew they really came to see us – we were so happy. Thank you Dr. Cooney for helping mom and dad let me go live with Rusty. You really helped them and I was happy to go, knowing that you were there with them.

PS: I am the one on the front. Rusty is behind me. She thinks she is hiding in the grass.
