Our sweet girl named Charley came into our lives just three short years ago. We found her in a Georgia humane society shelter. She was estimated to be ten years old at the time. We wanted to adopt a senior girl because we knew her chances for a forever home would be slim. We found out after bringing her home that she was completely deaf. No matter! She was full of life and personality and got along well with our two cats. Charley had more energy than most dogs half her age! She had a funny howl, not a bark, that she would selectively use when she was hungry. Charley got along with any human and any other animal that she met. A friendly, happy-go-lucky girl. Some of her quirks were choosing a too-small cat bed that she barely fit in or the huge dog bed that she would sleep half on and half off. 🙂 Even though she was deaf we would always talk with her and we knew she understood us. Charley was well-loved and we are better for having her in our lives. We Love You Forever!
