Charley was our wonderful Old Man Cat who was with us for 20.5 years. He was a stray kitten when we adopted him and he flew from Florida to Colorado with us, where he lived for 20+ very happy years. He loved all of us, but especially our kids, and would take care of them like they were his own kittens. He loved to be outside in the sun and loved hanging out with our chickens. He was opinionated and loud, but also very loving and would insist that any lap needed to be sat on. He was the perfect Colorado cat: very happy, very cool, and loved by many, many people, and was a great mentor to our younger cats. He had a happy and comfortable life with us, surrounded by love. He let us know it was time to go, almost like his work here was done. We will miss him every day.
