Cleo joined the family, coming from an animal shelter in Collinsville, IL in June, 1993. She was adopted at that time with Katie, a black kitten. Both Cleo and Katie lived for many years in Missouri, then Maine and finally Colorado. (Yes, they were very well traveled!) Katie became sick last fall and passed away at the age of 20. Cleo, bless her soul, shared the pleasure of her companionship with us for more than 21 years. Always a loving soul, Cleo was also extraordinarily soft, with her short tortoise-shell coat. Cleo provided unconditional love and attention for many, many years – and we are deeply grateful to have had her in our lives. She is, and forever will be, missed dearly.
