Cleo came from Kansas and was place at the Boulder Humain Society. They said she was German Shepard and one of Rottie, NOT, she was Black Lab and Newfoundland, a mere 110 lbs. But oh she was one of a kind, pure black with a small white spot on her chest. She was the kindest most loving dog that God ever created, and I thank him for that. And smart, OMG, my husband and I were sure we were going to have to go back to school just to be on her level. My BFF would bring her grand-daughter over, 4, and Cleo would stand between her and our pool to keep her safe, then they would run around with the little one screaming with joy. Then she got sick with cancer, she was with us for less than two months after the diagnosis. Her favorite was to go to Dairy Queen and get some ice cream and of course to lie in front of the fan and have her stomach rubbed. Once in awhile before she got sick she also tried to be a lap dog, now there was a picture. I will till the day I die miss her and can hardly wait to see her again. God Bless you Cleo and I will see you again someday – – Mom and Dad
