From the moment you, as a puppy, ran to Sarah, we knew you were going to be a special part of our family. It took a family meeting to name you after a Texas country singer! We loved taking you for runs in the open space behind our house. Hearing you swim in the creek as we walked along the path of trees let us know you were having fun! Especially, the day we saw a deer run in front of us, and then you came running right behind it! We always had your piece of cheese when we called you back to us! You traveled with us on adventures throughout Texas and Colorado. You loved swimming at the beach, chasing squirrels in the yard, and running in the snow! Having such a calm and sweet demeanor, you were the perfect fit for our family! You loved people and never met a stranger! As long as we were there, you felt safe with us, and you protected us!
