Fani

November 19, 2016 by

My name is Fani. My Mom took me for walks every day, we watched the wildlife, and walked with my brother, Mateen. I have a large extended family who loves and cherishes me! I was adopted at age 6 , and thankful to have my family for 4 beautiful years before God called me home. I was very loyal to my mom, and all humans. My grandpa and grandma spoiled me, and even took me to run free at my Uncle Joe’s farm, where my brother and I didn’t need a leash. I loved chasing a tennis ball, playing with toys, hiking, swimming, and sniffing around in the meadow for field mice. I kissed everyone I met. Well, sometimes I was a bit afraid of other dogs, but over time my mom convinced me we are all here to love one another. My family meant the world to me, and I to them. I know they must be feeling the void of my absence. But I was blessed to share memories and amazing time together, and I hope they will smile when they remember me. my spirit will always inspire them, as theirs will inspire me. I don’t know why it all had to pass by so fast, I wish we could do it all over again.

Fani, you have always been the best girl ever. I fell in love with you the moment I met you, and appreciated your wise, knowing eyes, and your loving, sweet spirit. you walked right at my side, and knew how to speed up or slow down with my gait, and I never even trained you for that. You sat watch over my parents, 91 and 87 years old. You took the fall when any innocent was close to harm, you placed yourself at risk to protect them. Your loyalty melted my heart, and I found it hard to be away from you and your brother all day when I was at work. I loved the way you got happy and excited when I came home! I miss your waggy tail! Your precious smile , your splendid eyes, your intelligence, and your generosity.

I pray ray we do meet again in Heaven one day, and you welcome all with your kisses. God bless you girl, and May Jesus keep you under his wing, and God keep you in his hands , until we meet again. Thank you my beautiful Fani! We love you!! Thank you for traveling all the way from Florida with your original family to Colorado, where you found me, and became the light of my life! I’m eternally grateful for your love.

Fani, you are in my heart always, keep me in yours, that I may be as loving to all as you.
