Geoffrey was the first puppy born in his litter and inseparable companion to the second puppy, Duke. This dynamic duo split all the duties of watching over a family through thick and thin. Duke was taken from us by cancer in 2019 and Geoffrey took on the burden of taking care of the humans all by himself while missing Duke terribly. Geoffrey brought unity and stability, safety and security, humor, and peace of mind for fifteen years. He did his best to train his humans well and was mostly successful, becoming by far and away the most spoiled pet/child/grandchild that anyone could imagine. He crossed this country with his humans from home in Colorado west to California and the waters of the Pacific, to Michigan and the lakes there, to Florida and the Gulf Coast. We hope that he has been reunited with his dear brother, and we hope that we have lived lives that earn us the right to join them when the time comes. You are missed and the empty spot you leave will never be filled.
