Jack rescued us with his brother Buddy when they were about 2 years old. Jack had many adventures including jumping out of moving cars, running over mountain ridges, and running away in general. If the front door was open, Jack was running. By the grace of God, we always found him and brought him home. Jack was a gentle sweetheart who was so skittish when he first came to us but he grew to love us as his pack. He was a protector and a guide to Buddy and he gave his humans the best hugs. We were blessed to have him for 13 years. He loved to be outside and would sneak his toys outside any chance he got. He loved to go paddle boarding with us and used his tail as a 5th leg to help him swim. We have so many fond memories of Jack and his loss leaves a huge hole in our family. Buddy misses him the most. Run free, our sweet boy. Thank you for taking such good care of us. We love you, miss you and we can’t wait to see you running toward us in Heaven when we get there.
