Jake came into our lives in October, 2010, soon after our daughter passed away. Our hearts were heavy, and his beautiful eyes and loving kisses immediately brought a feeling of peace. He was a “Senior” dog when we found each other at the Humane Society….we’re not sure how old he was at the time. But, we know he had a youthful spirit and was soon teaching us to have fun again! What a ball player he was! He never met a tennis ball, or a person, he didn’t like! He moved into our home, and into our hearts, without any adjustment period, and our life together was as if it had always been. Jake continued to do what he loved best…to go for a walk, chew on his tennis ball, and shower us with lavish kisses right up to the final hour of his life. His beautiful spirit will always be in our hearts, and we’ll be forever grateful for all that he taught us and gave us. We miss you, dear Jake. We’ll see you again at the Rainbow Bridge.
