Kira Starr was 7 weeks old when we got her. She has been with us every step of the way of our adult lives. She was our baby before we had babies and it is so hard to imagine life without her. She was the sweetest, most special dog ever. She was so selfless and stayed around longer than she probably wanted to because she knew I still needed her. There are too many memories that I will always hold dear to my heart to share just one. She was 14 years old and she had a long, very adventerous life, full of hikes, swims, snuggles and most importantly love. She was loved by everyone that met her and her family will miss her forever. I am comforted by the fact she is with our other fur babies that passed before her and family members that are waiting for us. May you run free, Kira Starr, I will love you forever.
