In Memory of Linus Tuttle Our life with Linus began when we adopted him in January 2008 when he was 2 years old. He captured our hearts when we first saw him and we knew he was ours. Linus loved everyone who came into his life. He especially loved his Grammie and enjoyed sitting in her lap. (No one ever told Linus he wasn’t meant to be a lap dog.) Linus touched the hearts of family and friends in Colorado, Georgia, Wyoming, and Scotland. Linus enjoyed snoozing under the lilac bushes in his backyard on hot summer days and snowy winter days. He took advantage of the birdbaths in the yard and thought they were his water bowls. He was equally happy being inside with us and eventually the sofa became his bed. He was the perfect home security device, protecting us from trash trucks, UPS deliveries, one raccoon, and countless blackbirds. This dog was a majestic St. Bernard and he possessed every good trait of the breed. At 220 lbs. he was truly a gentle giant. Linus wanted only love and companionship and we were blessed to be able to give that to him. Though our world changed on July 1, 2013, we’ll always treasure our memories of life with Linus. He was our boy. Jerry & Barbara Tuttle Loveland, CO
