Our baby boy was born the day of our Big Blizzard, December 20, 2006. We had seen
this litter of American Eskimos after they were born and enjoyed watching the little
white balls of fur roll around in the snow. Louie became a member of his forever home on
September 17, 2007 he was such a perfect Dog, we named him Louie. Louie’s favorite toy was the pull rope as soon as he saw us get it he was a happy little boy. Sometimes he would pick it up and bring it to us already making the grrrrr noise. Louie had such an awesome personality he knew all his commands and understood everything he was
told. One day while he and his brother and sister were getting their snacks, Louie sat up
on his butt just like a little Prairie dog. He surprised all of us. Another surprise were his
kisses, Louie loved to kiss. Louie did not lick his kisses like many dogs, he actually put his
mouth up to yours and gently KISSED you. Louie was a pampered and very lucky Dog. We took him on vacation to California twice and he went to see Mount Rushmore. He never left our side. We have Christmas decorations in the front yard, one is a Dog sitting next to a dog house. Louie would go outside and sit right beside the dog as if he was a part of the scene. During the last week of November 2015, Louie started vomiting so we immediately took him to the Dr. to have him checked out. A few days later it was a trip to the ER, Louie was not getting any better. That night Louie was diagnosed with Cancer, Six days later on
December 16, 2015 Louie passed. Even during his last few days while in pain and barely able to walk he still followed his Daddy around. On his dying day he gave us our goodbye kisses. Our hearts are broken but we have so many beautiful memories of his life with us. We will always Love and miss our baby boy Louie.
