“My Lucy” as I called her, along with “My Pumpkin”, “My Pillow”, My Kissy Cat”, “My Goofy Girl” (and others I can’t think of right now) had been the joy of my life for 15 years. She was always so much fun and irresistibly huggable. Speaking of hugs, all I had to do was tell her I wanted a hug and she would jump up on my lap and stretch up to my shoulder so I could put my arms around her! We would play chase around the house and up until the time she was stricken with liver cancer she would be running through the house sounding like a herd of elephants on the wood floor. She was pure Love and entertainment and she had the loudest never-ending purr! On June 27, 2013, she died peacefully in my arms in the shade of a maple tree in the back yard. Last night (July 8) I had my 1st dream of her and woke up with my arms in the position of holding her. She was my little feline Guardian Angel and I will miss her until I see her at that Rainbow Bridge. I want to thank Home to Heaven and especially Dr. Michelle Reynolds for the warmth and compassion during this most difficult time.
