Maggie

November 18, 2016 by

Maggie was very simply put “the greatest dog ever”. She was the best pet, companion, hunting dog, and friend anyone could ever ask for. We feel blessed to have had the opportunity to spend 13 wonderful years with her. We gave her lots of love, but it was the love she gave back to us (ten-fold) that enriched our lives and brought all of us such joy. Maggie was our first child and loved as much as the two human one’s that followed. Time spent with Maggie was always quality time, whether you were bird hunting, running, going on an easy walk or laying next to her. Everything she did, she did with style, grace, love and self-lessness. Maggie was a beautiful English Setter with the softest coat for long sessions of petting and snuggling up next to. I will never forget the feel of her soft fur next to my face and in my hands. She had a certain intelligence and compassion that made her vibrate at a very high frequency. Everyone who met her could sense that and instantly loved her.

We miss our “Miracle Maggie”, “Moo-ski”, “Maggie girl”, “Pooh Pup”, “Scooby skat”, “Skitly scoob” and “Moo-doggie”.

Maggie is a wonderful evolving soul that will hopefully be a human in her next incarnation so that we may have the chance to spend an entire lifetime with her. What a great thought.

Margaret (mom and namesake to Maggie),Michael (grateful hunting partner to Maggie), Joseph and Elizabeth (siblings and playmates to Maggie)
