Maxx

November 19, 2016 by

Our days seem quieter and longer since we said goodbye to our Dachshund Maxx. It was with the heaviest of hearts that we let Maxx go to Heaven on Saturday March 13, 2010. Maxx lived a full long, happy life of 16 years, 3 months and 1 week. Maxx was the sweetest dog in the world and brought us so much happiness and joy. He was there when we were happy, sad, sick, and everything in between. We knew he would comfort us and love us in any situation life brought and he never expected anything in return. His love for us was so great. We will be eternally grateful of the friendship we had with Maxx, he was such an important part of our family. Maxx expressed his love by licking us. Licking my son Nick the day he picked Maxx out of the litter to the last moments of his precious life. We were so blessed to have had one of God’s wonderful creations brighten our lives. We miss Maxx so much the void is unexplainable, but we have hope in knowing that we will be with him again one day in Heaven.  Maxx is at the Rainbow Bridge where he is a young, healthy, playful puppy again. Maxx, we know you are waiting for us and we look forward to seeing your sweet beautiful face again. We love you so much and we will never forget you. Your sweet footprint will be on our hearts forever.

Your Forever Family,
John, Veronica, Nick, Alex and Mario (your Dachshund brother)

Your beloved pet is sick

The diagnosis and subsequent prognosis aren't good. Now is the time to contemplate advanced animal hospice care or putting your pet to sleep (euthanasia). But where do you turn for help? What are the next steps? How do you make this final period of your companion’s life as peaceful as possible? Read more...
