Meecha

November 19, 2016 by

Meecha came to live with Moma Nita in 1998. She was 1 year old. She came with her sister Jo, who is still with us.

Meecha loved to eat! She lived for treats.

She loved to sit on the patio wooden fence.

She had a friend who was one year older than her. Her name was Sunshine, who also lived with her.

Sunshine used to play with Meecha. The two would lay stretched out on the patio cement floor or on the carpet indoors.

They would rush to see who would be first to sleep with Mom in the bedroom. Both of them loved to watch T.V. and listen to Mom’s music.

Meecha lived to be 13 years old. She stuggled to live even longer. She would crawl to be close to Mom and Mom would gently pick her up and put her on her lap. She died peacefully on Mama’s lap. Vets could not do anything to save her. We think she died of a high grade infection caused by one bad tooth. Mama Nita brushed her teeth, but did not see anything wrong, as Meecha ate and slept real well up until the tooth was removed.

Goodbye my pet. You will be missed by all of us. She was a very clean cat. Meecha’s first love was mama’s laps.

Your beloved pet is sick

What are the next steps? How do you make this final period of your companion’s life as peaceful as possible? Read more...
