MeMe

November 18, 2016 by

MeMe was my birthday gift from a group of friends one year after my best friend Rita passed away. When I got her she was just a kitten she was so full of energy, it was kind of a challenge to keep her occupied. Being that MeMe was my first indoor cat I had a lot to learn, she was always wanting to play, especially at night time. So, I would always take a ball in to bed with me hoping that when I threw it she would just stay there and play with it so that I could get some sleep. It didn’t take me long to figure out that my cat could fetch…needless to say, there were a lot of fun and sleepless nights with my new little friend.

MeMe was such a beautiful cat and together we have been through a lot of things. After my daughter was born I was nervous about having a cat around but again discovered that MeMe was as gentle as I could hope for with Kennedy and they quickly formed a friendship of their own. MeMe would follow Kennedy everywhere, in fact, MeMe was one of Kennedy’s first words.

She will be missed greatly by Kennedy, our 2 remaining cats Tommy and Lilly, my boyfriend Craig, myself, and many others. She was always a welcoming sight at the end of the day and she will be remembered fondly by all. I will miss my sweet little fetching friend.
