Merlyn was with us for a very short time, Feb 27, 2011 to Sep 21, 2011. He took our hearts the day we went to adopt him. He confounded the vets as to his age. One thought he was around two and others thought he was much older. He always acted more like a puppy then adult. He loved to chase anything, but never caught anything, that came on the HIS deck or on HIS property. In his short life with us he encountered wild turkeys, momma bear and her babies, squirrels, chipmunks, dear, rattle snakes and the only thing that confused him was cows, they would not get off of HIS property. He loved long walks and was completely controlled by his nose. We shall miss his desire to show us his love and his willingness to make us happy as we did with him. We have never been so deeply touched by anything that was with us for such a short time. He was truly a special part of our family and our lives. We shall never forget you or stop loving you!
