For those that got to know Mick, it seemed that all loved the white spots on his shoulders. Those weren’t natural white spots, his hair grew in white when he needed shots of ephedrine to counteract a severe reaction he had to his shots as a kitten. We told Mick that we wanted to keep some of his white hairs for us. As Mick was taking his last stroll around the house and Steve was petting him, two perfect strands of his white hair slipped out into Steve’s hand. Never before have those white hairs come out.
Mick then made his way to the chair by our front door and jumped up with no help. We had not seen him on that chair for at least a couple weeks. Mick was telling us that he’ll always be there to tell us he’ll see us later and to greet us as we come back home.
Please take a special effort to enjoy some quality time with your pets. No matter how long we are together, it’s not long enough.
