Cats seem to fall into two categories – ones that are natural clowns, and those with regal bearings. Midge definitely had regal bearings, even if she was born feral. I can vividly recall the first time I caught Midge, and why she came to live in our house. It was around Thanksgiving and she was still a tiny baby, I brought her in the house to warm up and soon found myself feeding her little bits of the leftover Turkey from a few days prior. When mom finally noticed she just sighed and said “Well you can’t put her back outside smelling of Turkey, the other cats will eat her alive”. From that moment on, Midge was a spoiled, well fed and well-loved indoor house cat. Midge filled her days with lots of sunbathing, plenty of grooming time, and being cuddled every day. Midge lived to the age of 14 passing away at home on February 4th 2018. She was succeeded in death by her big brother, Mikey Moo the Kitty Cow, and is survived by her sisters, Miss Kitty and Baby Gurgs.
