We said goodbye to our sweet Mini girl far to early in life. In January of 2016 she was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. After amputation surgery and chemo treatment we received the bad news that the cancer has spread to her lungs. She was our sweet baby girl and gave us every ounce of love in her heart. We have many happy memories with our Mini girl. She loved to go for rides in the car, go for walks, help her Mommy at the school and above all spending time with her family. She had the sweetest temperament and she loved taking naps and snuggling in her Mommy and Daddy’s bed and every sofa in the house was hers. She has a big personality and we always knew that she could understand us. We loved how she would tilt her head and listen to us whenever we talked. She loved to talk to us when we would get home from work or when she was hungry or ready to go somewhere! She traveled with us home to Iowa numerous times and made many trips up to the mountains. She never particularly enjoyed the great outdoors, but she loved to be with us no matter where we went. She hated the rain, but she loved to romp in the snow. She loved her many, many toys and her favorite snuggle buddy was her big pink bunny. She was such a big part of our life, she made us a family and she will always be our very first baby. We celebrated her 7th birthday the weekend before she passed with family and a grand celebration that included homemade meatballs and chocolate chip cookies with ice cream. She was very kind and peaceful in her passing, and we spent our last weekend together doing all of her favorite things. We will miss our baby girl dearly and remember her fondly. She touched so many lives and she will live in our hearts forever. We hope you are snuggling up on a big fluffy pillow in the sky Mini girl! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!
