Mr. Man 1994-2015
Mr. Man, also known as Kitty, Little Man, Kitty-Pie, and Kitty with the Big Feet, went to sleep on May 17, 2015 with the help of Home to Heaven. He was one of the larger breeds with big feet and a loud purr box. He was very sweet and affectionate and asked only that we feed him and take time to relax a bit with him every day. He liked to be brushed and look cute.
In his younger years he was rather athletic and climbed trees, climbed on the roof, chased squirrels, stalked birds, caught mice, played with cat toys, and at times followed us on short walks in the neighborhood. If he was out exploring, usually all it took was a few taps on his food dish to get him to appear from wherever he was. He was a nice cat, friendly, and enjoyed meeting visitors.
He had a big appetite all the way to the very end when it became difficult for him to eat due to cancer in his jaw. We wish he could have stayed with us forever and miss him very much.
