We said goodbye to a big part of our family. Over 14 years ago we fell in love with a cute, unusual looking chow-mix puppy at the Denver Dumb Friends League. We named her Daisy. Daisy had a playful, silly spirit and could untie our shoelaces in one second while we were walking. She was a mother to all small dogs. She was a confident protector of her family, both people, and our other dog and cat. One of the best things about her was that she would make sure David didn’t stay too long at his computer in the office. She would call him from outside the office until he came out. A funny thing about Daisy was that she always had an indifferent expression so you could never tell what she was thinking. She was a wonderful dog and we are missing her very much.
