Oscar Boren October 28, 2006 – February 6, 2024
Oscar was a sable-colored Lhasa Apso who came into this world on October 28, 2006. He was initially adopted by loving parents who joined two other fur babies – Ginger and Buddy. Unfortunately, his parents had to relocate and Oscar was given up for adoption. We came across Oscar through a rescue and he has been with us ever since. It is often said, “You do not rescue pets, but rather they rescue you.” This was the case with Oscar; he gave us so much joy and unconditional love. He enjoyed keeping us safe as he would look out the front door and windows along with roaming the backyard for countless hours making sure everything was okay. Although, he was only 17 pounds; he was fiercely loyal and protective. It did not matter if he came across another dog twice his size. He loved going for walks, car rides, Greenies, and doing zoomies. Unfortunately, Oscar passed away peacefully in our arms on February 6, 2024. We love you, Oscar!
