Ozzie

November 19, 2016 by

Unfortunately we were not able to upload a picture because of my old computer. The loss of Ozzie is still so fresh-our hearts are so broken. His sickness came on so quickly. It just seems like yesterday I was taking him on walks. First it was the non-malignant tumors that took part of his jaw and then his arthritis in his knees but those things we lived with—then June 2012 came around, I noticed the lumps in his neck and took him to find out that he had lymphoma-it was heartbreaking. The prednizone helped at first then he was also put on cyclophosph which also helped at first then within weeks he went downhill. It was awful to see him not walking on his back legs and going to the bathroom in the house. On jul 22 2012 is when I decided to euthanize him-he let met know the night before that he was ready.I could not stand to see him suffer another day. He was a beautiful red merle australian sheopard. I got him as a pup and he was with us for 14 beautiful years. There will never be another one like him. I’ll miss those those beautiful crystal blue eyes gazing at me. He was so overprtective that I had to avoid the dog park because he would not only herd me and his canine brothers and sister but did not like anyone near me without a fuss-you had to gain his trust first. There is so much more to say about him and all the wonderful memories that there is not enough room to finish. His canine brothers and sisters send their love and miss him so much. Till we meet again over the rainbow bridge, you are in our hearts and our souls Ozzie aka blue eyes aka handsome Hank Love Mom, Blake, Murphy, Lady, Fritz, and your latest playmate brother-Gunther
