Sadie Kester – August 28, 2003 to September 7, 2015

We lost our beloved Sadie on September 7, 2015. Sadie came into our lives in June 2011 after adopting her to be a companion to our other Italian Greyhound, Bella. We made the conscious choice to adopt an older dog vs. a puppy – Sadie was two months shy of turning 8 years old when we adopted her.

Sadie was a super snuggler and loved to ride in the car.  When she got excited she made funny grunty noises, which made us laugh.  When Sadie was deep in sleep she would snore loudly, so when she was sleeping we called her Sadie-Vader.  Sadie was never late for a meal, and we often called her a land shark, as she would eat anything and everything.  What’s funny about that is Sadie only had 15 teeth left.  Sadie was also very vocal when reminding us when it was time to eat or time for her treat. We swear she could tell time.

Although we only had a little over four years with Sadie, she gave us a lot of joy and love.  We miss her terribly and will always have a special place in our hearts for our baby girl.

Mommy, Daddy, and  Bella love you very much and hope you are at peace and able to run and play again.
