Rocko Johnson          

4/15/2002 – 7/31/2015

As a young dog, when not directly interacting, Rocko dutifully laid in the background and vigilantly watched – just in case he was needed. Even with his head down, his eyes and ears were always tuned. A trait that stayed with him 13 plus years. He loved hiking, outside activities, his animal buddies, my bed over his doggie pillow, Nolyn (who brought him to our lives), Tyler – and, me. He was my friend, companion, and support who pulled me through some tough times in life, shared happy events, and fulfilled cherished time together doing nothing at all.

Rocko, you’ve been a shining star in my life; it is so very hard to part. I know you and Phoenix are again romping and playing, free from your diseases. Wish we could all be hiking once again. I’ll forever treasure my years with you. I still feel your presence, devotion and unconditional love – and reach out to pet you a hundred times a day. Until we meet again, I love you and thank you for sharing life with me. My heart truly aches and I miss you more than words can express my Rock-star.
