Frankie was born on July 26, 2003 a brindle & white English Bull Dog in Apache Junction, Arizona; he was almost 12 years old on a very sad Monday; June 29th, 2015.  In a chance meeting I meet a breeder while looking at puppies in the Superstition Mall, Arizona.  After following the lady back to her home she had several puppies this particular cute little guy at just week old caught my eye and attention.  On September 9th I couldn’t wait any longer as I picked him up and brought him home, where our journey began.  The first few nights were difficult as Frankie would cry like a baby until I tried everything to sooth him where I eventually just grabbed my sleeping bag and slept next to him. Nights were less restless, until he had to wake up every other hour to eat, play or go potty, which being on the 3rd floor became good exercise until we moved to a house, which then Frank got his own backyard.  Frankie became my four-legged child since I was unable to have children.  He loved to play with any and all other kids in the neighborhood weather they had two or four legs.  He would always shake what little tail he had and wiggle his butt when anyone came near.  If you had shorts on those bare legs where fair game for kisses.  Frankie was very playful but with his short little legs had his own speed, teaching me to slow down and enjoy life.  He loved to go swimming with his life jacket & floaty and never had any accidents in the pool.  He was a very smart and loving boy who was the best companion ever!  While living in Arizona he traveled with me to Hoover Damn, Grand Canyon, Mexico, California and Michigan.  We moved to Michigan and traveled to Montana and then eventually moving to Colorado, throughout our life’s journey he has always been my priority and I his.  In late 2012 he had started having seizures and once able to conduct blood tests I had to start him on medication to help control them.  After almost 3 years of being on this medication, it started to have effects on his liver.  He did have arthritis in his little legs and shoulder, I carried him when necessary which he never seemed to complain other than if I didn’t share my goodies or dinner with him.  He always brought love and sunshine to my life and his two sisters who are cats named Johnny & Queenie aka Q kitty, who I adopted.  Frankie and Johnny have always gotten along playing together and caring for each other, both cats miss their brother dearly.  The care & love I shared for my boy was my life and it seems very empty as Frankie is not here to begin and end my days.  With tears and grief I have a hole in my heart without you by my side, I feel lost. You will be thought of always and will always be with me, but you are not in pain or struggling anymore.  You had so many that loved you but no more than I, as you were the best little boy ever!  With much love and many tears your Momma.
