Eliza (2002-2015)

Eliza came to us 12 ½ years ago, a small ball of fur, not more than 6 pounds and grew to over 100 lbs-full of love, knocking everything off the tables with the swing of her tail. She was a constant compainion, and protector of our family. She would walk up to you and swing her head on your thigh, wanting to be petted. She would lay down where ever it was inconvinent for us, so we would have to step over her-she planned it that way. As she grew up, we found out she loved to eat anything and everything, she could get her mouth on. Anything on the counters was fair game-raw sweet pototoes seemed to be a favorite. She loved the water but really never got acustomed to swimming for a Newfoundland. She loved chasing rabbits and squirrels, and we know that she is chasing them now.
