He was my daughter’s best friend. He waited by the door, every day for her to come home from school. He watched over her, protected her. He was there for every milestone. Birth, birthdays, holidays, and all the “every” days. He was patient but mischievous. He was loving and gentle. He made us laugh when he’d chase his favorite toys around. He’d hide and want cuddles if there was a thunderstorm. He ate the bows off of every single present under the tree. He was truly one of a kind. We miss him so very much but he will forever live on in our memories and the stories we tell about him and his adventures. We love you forever Max!!
