Madeline was a little barn cat who joined our family 19 years ago.She was very small and thus the name Madeline after the little French girl in the book Madeline...and the smallest one was Madeline. She grew up with a large Collie, Duncan, who she was very fond of. When she was a kitten, she would sit in his large food bowl eating dog kibble as he ate around her. After Duncan died, she had a new friend in a tortie named Dulcinea. And then two years ago she got another dog friend, Percy, a Sheltie. Madeline was an exquisite cat. She loved lounging in the warm sun, snuggling under down comforters and dining on delicacies such as wild salmon. Like a elegant French woman, appreciated the finer things in life. Madeline left this world in the comfort of her friends and family on a warm spring afternoon. We will miss her so.
