Louie Bear, when you came home with us we had not a clue, all we thought was big paws, lots of hair, not something new.

 

I remember your first encounters with snow oh so well, they were all that interrupted Friday Night Lights, as far as I can tell.

 

Even though the cats showed you who was boss, you had access to the cheese drawer, so it was no big loss.

 

I remember lots of panting and drool in the summer, we had to walk and poop at 6am, oh what a bummer.

 

Since moving to Colorado you've developed a personality, you growl as your paw you face, but it's all love, no vanity.

 

You've made friends with bunnies and deer on the trails, but you're too big a bearsy and they give you the tail.

 

All of our homes have been blessed by your fluff, your energy is contagious, it cannot be snuffed.

 

I live for our shnuggles, in crotches and on the floor, you are our light and our love, forever more.
