I went out to rescue a boxer; Sparky on the day of July 24, 2008 in Los Angeles, CA area to give him a really good life and to take him away from the life that he led before he ended up at San Gabriel Humane Society. I freed him from trouble and strife. His doctor estimated his birth about 9 months prior to his rescue with the police force. Discovering a love that I'd dreamed of and fulfilled in myself a strong need for his companion. Sparky; the lovely dog that I rescued really ended up rescuing me. He past away from an illness on January 29, 2013 at 4:11 AM. Being my 1st assistive animal he carried out life with joy. Sparky is missed. Love, Denise Plum
