Sadie, Sadie, lovely lady was what I called her and that is what she was.  Sadie was rescued from a shelter by my daughter and she lived her life with gratefulness.  She was a constant companion for my daughter for 12 years. She spent 'vacations' at our house and in the last few months she came to live with us. This time with Sadie has been a joy.  She loved to sit in the sun and watch the world go by.  I learned a lot from Sadie.  She lived in the moment and knew how to relax.  Oh! the lessons I could learn from her!  Her job was to make us happy and that is what she did.  At the end we told her it was time to rest.  A job well done.  But oh, how we miss you.
