Oscar came to us only 7 1/2 yrs ago when he was 11 yrs old.  It seems like we had him forever but now that he's gone, it doesn't seem like we had enough time with him. Oscar had pancreatic cancer which is rare in cats but Oscar was a very rare cat as well.  He was such a character with all his little quirks: had to sleep with his head up, didn't like closed doors, liked to help us make the bed (with him in between the sheets, legs up),  loved to be brushed, loved to be petted with your foot instead of your hand (he had such a foot fetish) and was our official greeter.  He also liked to remind us that he liked to be fed at 2:00 AM.  I especially liked how he would lay on his back with his paws up in the air and liked to have his tummy rubbed.  He always seemed more like a dog than a cat.  We will miss him sleeping above our heads and his gentle purring.  Oscar will be in our hearts forever and will be greatly missed!  We can't wait to seem him again at the Rainbow Bridge.
