Sonny (aka Sonnydog) my sweet sweet loveable lab came into my life 10.5 years ago.  He quickly became my running partner rain or shine in the morning and a therapy dog by day then a ball chasing maniac in the evening.  He loved everyone he met and considered all living creatures to be his friend (except coyotes of course).  He struggled with severe arthritis and restricted breathing issues, all things we were working on but little did we know that nasty horrible Cancer was taking over his body at a alarming scary rate.  Even the great docs at CSU could no longer fix him.

Everyone who was honored to know Sonny agree he was one of the most amazing dogs, a best friend to all, my running partner, trail blazer, skiing companion, champion swimmer and diver, amazing therapy dog to psychiatric patients, protector of all critters around him, devourer of cheese popcorn and ANYTHING that was remotely edible, kitchen vacuum cleaner, plate washer, life saver to thousands of tennis balls that were lost on open space trails and just about the Cutest Hugging Machine ever created!!!!

You are free to chase down all those nasty coyotes now Sonnydog, go get em...... We will meet again my best friend...... I celebrate your life with a big bowl of popcorn and ice cream, vanilla of course!
