May 2007 - July 2022 Bootzie was a rescue that I didn’t know I needed. Throughout all of my major milestones and trials, she was there: college graduation, the loss of my grandpa, the loss of my marriage, the loss of pregnancy. She loved to kiss fish, sing to me when I got home from work, and share a Starbucks every weekend. I would always sing to her, “My Girl” by the Temptations, and that was the last song I played for her. It’s only been a week, but my heart misses her soft cuddles and happy face so much!
