Our sweet Oreo enjoyed a long, 22 years, and 20 years with our family. We met Oreo at the Larimer Humane Society and she clearly chose us as her fur-ever family by raising her right paw through the cage and demanding we pay her attention. A people cat for sure, every ring of the doorbell meant someone was coming to visit her. She would saunter to the door, raise her right paw and announce she was ready for a "hello" pet. A great friend and mentor to the other family cat, Zoey, (although Oreo had a habit of devouring Zoey's food), a frequent nap companion, and Jim's nightly TV-watching buddy. So very hard to say goodbye.
