Sir Henry Charles Hushpuppy Carstensen He was lovingly referred to as Henry, or Hen Dog. He was a devoted, loyal, protective, family member and best friend. Born in November of 1993, he was a Christmas / birthday present for his Mommy, Chris. However, he quickly formed an inseparable bond with his Daddy, John. He deeply missed his brothers, Tim and Mike, once they grew up and moved on to their own lives. But... he did love their visits. He even developed a special bond with Lydia, Tim's wife, as long as she understood that he was allowed to drool on her. He was always full of love, character and personality. Being a Basset Hound mixed with Pit Bull, he was often characterized as a Basset on steroids. He had an extreme love of sweets and candy. He was a valuable member of our family and he will forever remain in our hearts and minds forever. Our family, and his sister, Cherokee, will miss him greatly. --Chris Carstensen
