My heart is broken and the pain of losing my Zig -"the Queen" is real and profound.  She showed up on my patio and was  sitting in my flower pot  looking into the window. That was the start of 16 years together. She saved me and I saved her. There are so many things I will miss about my sweet girl.  Her enduring quirks, her sandpaper kisses, her catitude, her unconditional love, the way she said "thanks" with a contended purr, her cute black button nose , her botched ear and her beautiful green eyes. For as long as her memories live within my heart my gentle precious Zig will live forever.  She was my ray of sunshine.  I love her and will forever miss her.
