Our dear little Cissy passed away peacefully on Sept. 23, 2021. She was 20-1/2 years old. Cissy was a beautiful Flamepoint Himalayan. She was quiet, happy with her own company, and a joy to be around. We christened her “the Troll” because her big round eyes, puffy cheeks, and squished-in nose made her look just like a Troll doll. Over time, Cissy developed all sorts of funny “Trollerisms” – little routines she created on her own and taught to us. She was also the consummate box lover. She would claim a box as a bed, and after weeks of sleeping in it, would lose all interest in it, and find a new place to sleep! Cissy was a quiet little kitty so my husband and I started talking for her. We created a funny “Troll voice” for her thoughts and words. We also loved the unique “rattle” sound she made when she purred. Cissy was always a delight. It’s amazing how such a little kitty could have such a BIG presence in our lives. She leaves a huge hole in our hearts. She is greatly missed!
