Sora, which means Sky in Japanese, joined our family in Spring of 2003. For 17 years, Sora gave our family unconditional love, laughter, and joy. He was full of character, and loved hiding in blankets, sleeping in our laps and arms, and cuddling with his fluffy brothers (our dog and other cat). Most of all, Sora was loving, attentive, loyal, and kind. He knew when our spirits needed lifting, and he would come comfort you and shower you with his love. When our dad was diagnosed with cancer, he kept him company, and did not leave our dad’s side in his final days. We find comfort in knowing that Sora has been reunited with our dad and his fluffy brothers that preceded him. Sora passed peacefully the morning of May 9th, 2020, surrounded by love and gratitude. Sora, we miss you so very much and love you forever! Thank you for all the love, laughter, and joy you gave each of us! We are so blessed to have you in our family!
