Mischievous. Curious. Loving. Funny. Playful. Nettie was all of these and more. At least once a day, she would grab one of her favorite stuffed toys - and with a defiant look back over her shoulder - run through the dog door dragging it with her into the back yard. She loved car rides, the dog park, her “sister” Missie, and her family. Last Spring, Nettie was diagnosed with Stage D heart failure. Nettie faced her failing heart with her customary good nature, tail always wagging. At last, though, her big heart and strong spirit were no longer enough to overcome her failing health. A seizure made it almost impossible for her to breathe easily. We will always miss our darling girl.
