Pepper’s first family dropped her off at the shelter because she was “too much dog” who chased livestock. We said that was her Indian name, and of course, she herded because she’s an Australian Shepherd. Duh! We loved her from the moment we met her, and she was head ranch dog for 12 years. She was born to be a therapy dog, and her intuition about human’s feelings were a comfort to all who met her. She loved being builder dog of the week with Dad, and her final loving act for us was to train our new miniature Australian Shepherd Minnie Mouse to follow in her footsteps. We miss and love you forever! Love, Mom & Dad
