In October of 1996 we fell in love with the most beautiful little dachshund. We knew she would be ours right away. We named her Putter because we lived next to a golf course and she loved to go find the lost golf balls. All you had to say was go find a ball and she would start digging around in the grass and pretty soon she would come out with a ball in her mouth. We spent many hours doing this.
Putter had many health problems but never did she give up on being a loving and relentless companion to both my husband and I. She was the most loving dog we could have asked for. All you had to do is get on the floor with her and tell her you needed loves and she would come and kiss you to let you know she understood. She also loved to have ice cream (vanilla) every night with my husband.
We will miss her and remember all the good times we had together.
Thank you Putter for all the love and enjoyment you gave us. You will be in our hearts forever.
Till we meet again – We Love You.
Love,
Dave and Rosemary
