Rain

Our home was complete when we adopted Rain. Being an ex-racing greyhound she had never had a forever home. For the first 8 years of her life, she had only lived in cages. So when she came to our home it was overwhelming for her. All the space! And no cages! But greyhounds are so adaptive, within a few days she had discovered the comfort of the sofa. A few days later and she was sleeping on her back probably for the first time. She quickly learned to be the queen of her new castle! How wonderful it was when she greeted us at the door every time we came home. She lived a good long life. We miss you Rain. We love you so much and we’ll never forget you. The goofy way you pounced on your bed, the way you always pushed your food around until it spilled all over the floor before you started eating, the way you subtly stared at guests wh en they were sitting on your sofa until they got out of the way. You will always be in our thoughts. You were such a good dog Rain. We miss you!
